OK... Where to start: I feel awful.

I feel awful physically and mentally. I'm on the tail-end of a 2 week leave period in which the family went on a Queensland trip but I just feel so bleh.

The trip itself was OK. The highlight was that the kids got opportunities for new experiences. From my perspective it felt like a waste of time and money overall; The heat was absurd, everything was ridiculously expensive and the icing on the shit-cake was that I was too fat to fit on any of the rides at the theme parks. Total bummer.

We came home earlier than expected and since then I've felt overwhelmed and full of malaise. I'm too fat and there's too much shit in this house. I fell off a sheer cliff immediately back into bad habits, e.g. Shit food, shit sleep, shit exercise, shit chores, shit information consumption.

Holidays and me are just not really compatible... They shouldn't cause this much stress. I now also have the additional stress of knowing that I go back to work in a couple of days and there will be a mountain of work to catch up on.

Fuck this, this is not living.

I need to lose weight, so many of my issues are centred around obesity; Bad eating habits and bad exercise habits being the primary ones.

I weighed myself today and was 138kg. I set a goal to be at 100kg by 01/01/2025 and will use this blog to help keep myself accountable like I did in 2022. 2022 was a good year.

Well things have been better.

I've kept up with the strecthing and walking that it is becoming a necessary habit in the morning. I've missed about 4 or 5 days since the 3rd February and those are the days I feel generally crappy. Start walking people, you'll feel better.
